Well went to view a movie, tickets purchased in advance. Feel a bit claustrophobic entering into the cinema area. Screen was dirty top right but still could view movie ok. Overall good experience
Visited for The Hundred recently,Birmingham Phoenix v Trent Rockets and had a fantastic evening at Edgbaston and would recommend the ground to any cricket fan. The stadium is situated in the south suburbs of the city and is a straightforward 30 minute walk from Birmingham New Street Railway Station. I was slightly confused that i couldnt access the large club shop on the outside of the impressive blue clad South Stand but friendly ticket office staff informed me if i entered at E4-5 (my seat was actually on the other side of the ground) and turn right in the concourse i could access the club shop inside the ground. Scanning of the e-ticket and bag was quick and easy and,as i was entering the ground in the last few balls of the Womens game,getting into the club shop and purchasing items was also easy,with a great selection of T100,T20,and Warwickshire CCC items to chose from.
Been a member for many years, tonight I used an electronic macinhe. Bet £5 on red, red came up and the machine didn't PAYE. Will never go here again
We really enjoyed our stay at the hyatt regency. Great central location. Staff were friendly and more info professional. Lobby and bar areas were very nice, comfortable and stylish. Rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. Decor in rooms dont match the lobby style could do with a bit more colour. Tea tray was ok, would expect speciality coffees and coffee machine for price of the room. Missing dressing gown but rang reception and this was quickly rectified. Breakfast was self service, we prefer being served, but what we had was all good quality, tasty with plenty of choice, liked that we was offered a different choice of eggs cooked fresh and pancakes.
Absolutely lovely place. Made my birthday so special. Staff were so nice and friendly. Girls at the front desk were very kind and helped us through membership, bar staff were friendly and welcoming, and the manager went above and beyond. Five out of five, would reccomened.
I guess prices are typical of venues nowadays. Ticket price was high but you do get a full days entertainment so better value than say a premiership football match.
